Key Stage Three
Students receive four hours of teaching per week, with a small nurture group receiving an additional hour to support their developing literacy skills. In year 7, one hour of lesson time each week is devoted to Oracy, while in year 8 one hour each week is a Drama lesson.

Key Stage Four:
All pupils receive four hours of teaching each week and follow the Eduqas specification for GCSE English Language and the AQA specification for GCSE English Literature. We also offer GCSE Media Studies as an option, and students who opt for this receive three hours of lessons each week.
