All pupils at Key Stage Three receive regular homework to support their learning across the curriculum, which includes an independent project to complete every half term. These projects cover different aspects of the curriculum and are graded Gold, Silver, Bronze, using the same criteria across all subjects. In addition to this, pupils are expected to complete reading and spelling activities at home each week. The completion of reading and spelling activities is monitored via pupils’ learning journals.

At Key Stage Four, students receive homework whenever it is appropriate by subject teachers; this is usually weekly or fortnightly, depending on the subjects studied. All students are also expected to complete independent study and study skills are taught explicitly.

Homework Club runs Monday – Thursday in the LRC 3:00pm – 4:00pm and is for all year groups
