Start Date:                  1 September 2022

Salary:                         Grade 1/2

                                      37 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only

End Date:                   31 March 2024 (This is an 18-month apprenticeship qualification, with a view to becoming a permanent post).           

The Elton High School have created an exciting opportunity for a newly designed post of Apprentice PE Technician.   

The role will involve working within the school’s Physical Education department, setting up equipment and resources, helping with lesson preparation and monitoring the cleaning and maintenance of the sports areas.  In addition, the post holder would have the opportunity to plan, support and deliver extra-curricular activities, inter-school competitions and ad-hoc projects.  The role would be ideally suited to someone wanting to develop a career in community sports coaching or a PGCE into teaching. 

The suggested apprenticeship qualification would be ‘Community Activator Coach’, but any similar qualification would also be considered.
